Chloe - 5 Months Old

Chloe's Accomplishments This Month:

• Started the month at 14 lbs. 0.2oz - Ended the month at 14 lbs. 9.8 oz - A 9.6oz gain!
• Rolled over from her tummy to her back on the floor for the first time
• Sucked on her toe for the first time by herself
• Had her First Easter
• Started sucking on just her thumb instead of all her fingers at once
• First plane ride
• First time to Hawaii
• First time to Guam
• Met her Uncle Josh and Aunt Mandi for the first time in person (and found out that she was going to get a cousin for her first birthday)
• First time in the ocean (the Philippine Sea)
• First time in a swimming pool
• First time to go to a Chomorro Village (on Guam)
• Started to stick out her thumb while blowing spit bubbles
• Laughed a lot while being tickled
• Splashed water in her face while in the ocean and liked it
• Watched the movie "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Alice in Wonderland" - actually watched the first half of each then slept for the second half
• Daddy put Chloe to bed for the first time by himself
• Celebrated her 5-Month Birthday with Aunt Mandi and Uncle Josh by going to Underwater World and having Angel Food Cake :)
• Visited Japan and got her first stamp in her passport!

Chloe's Accomplishments This Month:

• Started the month at 12 lbs. 14.4oz - Ended the month at 14 lbs. 0.2 oz - A 1 lb. 1.8oz gain!
• Began rubbing her eyes with her hands to show she is tired
• Became much more mobile (squirmy) especially on the changing table
• Started to refuse a bottle and pacifier
• Started reading her krinkle book from Grandma Debbie and loved it
• First time to go to Disney's California Adventure (First Ride: Toy Story) and Disneyland (First Ride: Peter Pan)
• First time to touch sand at the beach - she loved it!
• First time to be interested in another baby
• March 15 - 1-Year Anniversary of when we found out Chloe even existed
• First time to play at the beach
• Started using her legs a lot when on her tummy, as if she wants to crawl
• First time to roll over from tummy to back
• Visited Daddy at work for the first time
• Started lifting her head while seated in her carseat
• Went miniature golfing with Daddy & Mommy on a date
  
• Went to the church nursery for the first time and did great!
• Surprised Daddy at work with cupcakes for his birthday
• Started laughing a lot more
• Likes to see herself in the mirror
• Put her pacifier in her mouth by herself for the first time
• Found her foot and inserted it into her mouth :)
• Pushed up with her arms while on her tummy

Chloe - 3 Months Old

Chloe's Accomplishments This Month:

• Started the month at 11 lbs. 8oz - Ended the month at 12 lbs. 14.4 oz - A 1 lb. 6.4oz gain!
• Became very interested in her Monkey Toy (plastic - like toy keys)
• First time to go to a park and sit on a swing and on a slide
• Put herself to sleep on her Play mat all by herself for the first time
• Started holding her head up more while being held
• Held her head up very well while on her tummy
• Started using her hands and fingers more - is became better at grabbing objects
• Started blowing spit bubbles a lot
• While sitting in Daddy's lap facing forward, she looked back and up to see Daddy (later that same evening, she did this with Mommy)
• Tried out her crib for the first time - yes, it took us that long to put her in it as we love having her close to us
  
• Had 20 minutes of straight Tummy Time - this was a HUGE improvement from other times on her tummy
